
Blood Donation Process

Step 1
Fill out the blood donor application form and have your blood pressure measured.
It’s important to provide accurate health information to ensure the blood collected is safe, high-quality, and beneficial for both the donor and the patient. -
Step 2
Register the donor in the computer system. -
Step 3
Check hemoglobin levels and conduct health screening by medical personnel. They will ask additional questions about your medical history to assess your suitability for donating blood. -
Step 4
Donate blood. The donor will have approximately 350-450 cc of blood collected. -
Step 5
Sit and rest for 10-15 minutes while drinking a beverage and having a snack. After donating blood, it is essential to drink the refreshments provided and take some time to rest to monitor your condition post-donation.
