Blood Donation Process

  • Step 1

Fill out the blood donor application form and have your blood pressure measured.
It’s important to provide accurate health information to ensure the blood collected is safe, high-quality, and beneficial for both the donor and the patient.
  • Step 2

Register the donor in the computer system.
  • Step 3

Check hemoglobin levels and conduct health screening by medical personnel. They will ask additional questions about your medical history to assess your suitability for donating blood.
  • Step 4

Donate blood. The donor will have approximately 350-450 cc of blood collected.
  • Step 5

Sit and rest for 10-15 minutes while drinking a beverage and having a snack. After donating blood, it is essential to drink the refreshments provided and take some time to rest to monitor your condition post-donation.
